Font Public Relations’ newest recruit, Callan Paske, is a University of Tasmania Graduate and a keen entrepreneurial talent. Callan graduated from UTAS at the beginning of 2008 with a Bachelor of the Arts degree majoring in Journalism and Entrepreneurship and has worked in hospitality management for the past four years.

Callan specialises in sports and entertainment communications having cut his teeth in the United Kingdom handling marketing and public relations for a football (soccer) academy. During his time there he worked alongside major media outlets SKY TV, ITV, BBC and Setanta Sports and co-ordinated major press for large scale media calls in relation to the sports industry.

Callan holds a sound knowledge of social networking mediums, such as Facebook and Twitter, and his understanding of how to create messages to successfully engage these mediums helps to build effective online communication strategies for clients.

A keen eye for detail underwrites everything Callan sets his mind to and his love of English, and its application, are evident in his carefully crafted media releases and communications strategies. He writes regular articles on soccer in Southern Tasmania for The Mercury and is co-owner of a high-end cocktail catering company, Shake, which specialises in consultancy, catering and bespoke cocktail master classes.
